LED price displays and pump-top price signs
Our mission is meticulous care for the product.
Every aspect is carefully assessed and tackled with passion:
-Design
-Reliability
-Support
-Compatibility
Nothing is left to chance.
The product has grown step by step, and it has been important for us to listen to the advice of our customers, who pointed us towards solving the problems they encountered in the field.
Types
EndelByte produces two types of price displays:
standard price displays (which must be mounted inside a totem by a sign maker)
pump-top price signs (totem ready to be installed on the fuel dispensers)
Standard price displays are produced in all the heights normally used at petrol stations:
H12, H15, H20, H25, H32, H45
Here you will find dimensions and DXF files.
Here you will find information on the care we put into designing them.
Remote control
To change the prices and settings of the price displays we use an AUREL remote control, available in two versions. The only difference between the two versions is the radiated power.
There is no need to touch the price display in order to pair the remote control with it. In the unlikely event that the remote control breaks, a procedure must be followed while the price display is being switched on in order to carry out the pairing.
Here you will find details on how to use the remote control
Connection to management systems
All petrol station management systems have one or more ports for controlling the price displays.
EndelByte displays have an RS485 input specifically for this purpose.
In particular, our price displays are compatible with all the protocols used in Italy:
Tokheim (RS232)
Gilbarco (RS232)
Gilbarco bidirectional
Fortech
Maser
Waine Eni and Api
Gruppo Emme
In some cases the management system only has an RS232 port.
In these cases an RS232/RS485 converter must be placed between the management system and the price displays. The protocol used by the price display is set with the remote control alone, without needing to access the display's control board.
SELF/SERVITO
Pump-top price signs are normally made with H12 or H15 price displays.
That is why we designed the H12 and H15 boards so that, in addition to the digits that make up the prices, they can also show the letters needed to form the words SELF or SERV.
If a pump changes its dispensing mode during the day or at the weekend, the kit must have as many boards as the number of prices displayed, plus one to show the mode active at that moment.
For example, in the image below a three-price kit is needed to display the mode and two prices.
The SELF/SERVITO sign can be controlled either by the remote control or through the management system protocol (but only for MASER, Fortech and Gilbarco bidirectional)
